We Are Brexit Ready

2020 has been a challenging year and we have all had to adapt to ensure our businesses are Covid-19 secure. With the UK set to leave the EU from 1st January 2021 this means that, once again, we must adapt our ways of working.

Ramsden International has 75 years’ experience in the grocery industry and 30 years’ experience in international export. As the UK’s leading wholesale exporter of British grocery brands, selling over 24,000 products to more than 650 customers in 133 countries worldwide, we want to let you know that we are 'Brexit Ready'.

We are one of a small number of UK businesses to have achieved Full Authorised Economic Operator Status (AEO-F). This is an internationally recognised mark of quality, which certifies that our role within the international supply chain is secure, and that our customs controls and procedures are efficient and compliant. After 1st January, all of your orders will have our AEO-F stamp, ensuring swift customs clearance amongst other benefits.

Following Brexit, we will continue to provide you with a wide product range, exceptional levels of customer support and the complete ‘order-to-delivery’ service, covering:

  • Logistics
  • Data compliance
  • Relabelling
  • Ingredient translations
  • Customs
  • Export certification
  • Category management

Our International Business Managers and Customer Service Export Advisors have all received relevant training on potential Brexit issues and can answer any questions you have, in your native language.

We are committed to a long-term relationship with you and so we have made the necessary preparations, in advance of the UK leaving the EU, to continue this without disruption in 2021 and beyond.

We will continue to share what we know on the Brexit Updates section of our website. If you’d like to keep up-to-date with all things Brexit in our sector, please follow us on LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.
