Our Graduate attends her first Trade Fair
On the 22nd April, we joined Santander at the Houses of Parliament for their drop-in event focused on international expansion for SMEs.
Santander recently held a Parliamentary Trade Fair and we had the opportunity to invite Evie Oxley, the first person to join our Graduate Programme, to go along with our CEO and Founder, Sean Ramsden MBE, to this incredible event. The Trade Fair gave MPs the opportunity to familiarise themselves with the latest trade policies.
We were welcomed to this event to share our exporting business growth. Several other exporters, such as Jelly Drops and Baker & Baker, were also invited to showcase their innovative products and talk about their business journey.
Evie Oxley recalls the event as "a day of networking which gave me insights into the wider world of exporting. I am extremely thankful for the opportunity as I believe this has aided my professional development."
"Visiting the Houses of Parliament in London for the first time was an exciting adventure. Meeting new people made the experience even more enjoyable." Evie goes on to explain the surreal feeling she felt throughout the event and "the engaging conversations to shared laughter, each interaction added depth and warmth to the experience, making it truly unforgettable."
