Compliance & Product Data

Our Product Data team is happy to assist with supplying information that enables you to meet the import requirements for your country. This includes helping you with export/import regulations and documentation such as Certificates of Origin and Certificate of Free Sale, registering goods, clearing customs and export procedures.

We can also provide ingredient lists, allergen and nutritional information to our customers for any relevant products.

Ramsden International work closely with the Institute of Export, UKTI and FDEA to ensure we provide you with the most up-to-date information available and to remain effective in what we do. We are also compliant with ISO 9001: 2015, an internationally recognised standard for quality management. The quality management principles that form the standard are inherent throughout our business and ensure the highest standards in service to our customers. Along with this, we’re accredited with the Soil Association for all organic products sold by us as an export wholesaler.

Authorised Economic Operator Status (AEO-F)

We’re proud to be one of a small number of UK businesses to have achieved Full Authorised Economic Operator Status (AEO-F) -an internationally-recognised mark of quality, which certifies that our role within the international supply chain is secure, and that our customs controls and procedures are efficient and compliant.

A significant amount of work has taken place across the business to meet the stringent criteria that is required to achieve AEO-F status, which we believe will deliver a number of benefits for our business and customers, including, amongst other things; greater access to priority customs clearance; less likelihood of being subject to physical and documentary customs checks; reduced administration through simplified declaration procedures; and improved security between supply chain partners.

Companies with AEO-F status must meet certain standards, in relation to:

  • Customs clearance process
  • Shipping and logistics procedures
  • Relationships with supply chain partners
  • General site security
  • Legal and safety regulations
  • Financial stability

Being AEO-authorised puts us in the strongest position to deal with the on-going uncertainties around Brexit and provide our customers and suppliers with the assurance that we are safe, secure and compliant business partners.
